Looks like his seratus anterior form part of his upper abdominal wall...plus the large ab one pack bit would have less surrounding muscle for when his legs move across his body. Looks good though! And the delts/bi's/pec's look in good shape.

It might sound picky but I know big production ppl want the thing to work when it's modeled and they can get quite picky about the details.

Nice work though, are you preparing a portfolio for concept design?

hey cheers for the crit man, yeah its pretty hard to create new anatomy for made up creatures, although its clearley based on a human torso, it still has some difficult elements to get around. im kind of prepering a portfolio, im just trying to make myslef as employable as possible, animation work seems to be impossible to get. so im doing a bit of painting practice, i just want to work in a creative environment, its so frustrating!

Tell me about it! But don't worry, you'll get there. Just keep at it and maybe do some collobrative work to keep the ideas flowing and the overall scene fresh!
